Your Adobe files all look the same.
Iris shows what is inside.

Thumbnails and a real preview panel for Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects and Premiere Pro — right in Windows Explorer. Including the After Effects comp you were working in.

Windows 10 & 11 · 430 KB · no admin rights · 14-day trial · your files never leave your PC

Open the right project first time

No more opening five files to find one. The picture is already there, in the folder, in search results, in the Open dialog.

Before A folder of Adobe projects showing only grey file boxes
After Iris The same folder, every project showing its own preview

The same folder, before and after. Nothing was opened in between.

The Iris window: status, load-all button and switches
Iris itself: one status line, one big action, three switches. Nothing to configure.

Two things nobody else does

A project card with a glitch and a 14 of 16 files missing tag, next to a healthy one
Broken projects are obvious. The card glitches and says how many files are missing.
The preview pane for the broken project, with footage offline in orange and every composition
Click it to see why. The pane says 14 of 16 not on this PC and lists every comp.
The clean-up panel listing empty projects
Sweep out the empties. To the Recycle Bin, never deleted. One archive had 470.

Questions

Do I need Adobe apps installed?

No. Iris reads the files itself. Only the "comp I was working in" capture uses your own After Effects.

Does it send my files anywhere?

No. Everything happens on your PC, the previews are stored in your own user folder, and the licence check is offline. No account, no sign-in, no telemetry.

Windows says "Windows protected your PC"

That is SmartScreen reacting to a program it has not seen before, not a virus warning. Click More info, then Run anyway.

Will it slow my PC down?

The helper sits idle almost all the time. Building previews for old projects runs at low priority and stops when the queue is empty. You can switch it off entirely.

Does it work on projects from another computer, or an older Adobe version?

Yes — it reads the file formats directly, so files from colleagues, old drives and older Adobe versions all work.

What is the difference between Individual and Lifetime?

Individual is $4.99 a year and covers every update released in your year. Lifetime is $29.99 once and covers every future version, for ever.

Why does checkout ask for a PC code?

Each key is made for one computer, so it can't be passed around. Install the free trial, open Iris → the gear → Licence key, and copy This PC's code. Studio: one code per computer, up to five. New computer later? Send us its code and we replace your key, free.

How do I remove it?

Settings > Apps > Iris > Uninstall. Explorer goes back to plain icons. No admin rights needed to install or to remove it.

Refunds?

Fourteen days, no questions asked.
